Product Description
Workflow
1. Carton InfeedPre-formed cartons are conveyed into the sealing machine via a transport line.
2. Guidance and Flap Folding
During conveyance, mechanical guide rails and compression bars automatically and sequentially fold all four top flaps into position.
3. Critical Step: Tape Moistening
The kraft paper tape is drawn from its roll, and its adhesive side precisely glides over a constant wetting device (e.g., a water trough or moistened roller).
This step moistens only the tape to activate its pre-applied dry adhesive layer, instantly making it tacky.
4. Tape Application and Cutting
The now-activated tape is immediately applied along the carton's center seam, after which an automatic cutter trims it to length.
5. Compression and Bonding
A set of pressure rollers follows closely, firmly pressing the applied tape to eliminate air bubbles and ensure full contact with the carton surface, setting the stage for a high-strength bond.
6. Sealed Carton Output
The fully sealed carton is discharged from the machine onto the output conveyor, ready for subsequent operations such as strapping, labeling, or palletizing.
